Paula Stratton

Paula volunteered with COSECAM in Phnom Penh for twelve months as a Legal Advocate and Research Program Support Officer to assist COSECAM in its work towards ending the sexual exploitation and abuse of children in Cambodia.

She volunteered in this part of COSECAM due to her legal skills and interest in the law (LLM, BA, LLB (Hons), Dip of Legal Practice). While with COSECAM Paula worked on a number of important projects including case management feasibility studies, legislative reviews and irregular migration research. She was also involved in empowering young female victims of abuse and exploitation through Girls Speak Out Workshops.

Paula loved her volunteer experience in COSECAM. She misses living in such a beautiful country and all her Cambodian work colleagues!
