Meahto Phum Ko'mah or Homeland is a local non-governmental and non-profit organization that was established in 1997 which operates with orphaned and vulnerable children, especially street children, trafficked children, Children conflict with the lawand children orphaned by HIV/AIDS and other causes.
Homeland’s currently seeking the services of a skilled and experienced Cambodian national to fill the full time position of Finance, Adm and HR Manager. This position will be based in Battambang Province with frequent travel to project target areas.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist and advise the Executive Director in matters such as budget expenditure and control.
- Provide the Executive Director with regular overviews of the financial status of MPK projects.
- Strengthen the organizations Human Resource Management systems and ensure that staff files and other relevant documentation is maintained.
- Prepare budget requests for Director’s approval.
- Provide clear guidelines on expenditure to project staff to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Prepare various financial reports according to the requirements of each donor for Director to review and approve.
- Assist Program Manager and Project Managers in the preparation and maintenance of project budgets.
- Review, and strengthen where necessary, financial procedures with all donors.
- Ensure that the administrative support and logistic requirements are met.
- Ensure administration and documentation meets requirements of donors.
- Ensure smooth communication between the Cambodian Government Authority/Agency, Tax Department and Relevance Ministry and Meahto Phum Ko'mah.
- Participate in Management Team meetings and contribute ideas for organizational development.
- Ensure an appropriate filing system for the organization is maintained.
- Ensure that monthly wages are prepared for MPK employees in accordance with employment contracts and relevant laws.
- Other duties as directed by the Executive Director.
Qualifications and Experience:
- University degree in Business Administration or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 3 years experience in financial management, preferable within NGOs/INGO.
- Admin Experience is an advantage.
- A background in Human Resource Management would be well regarded.
- Good interpersonal skills
- Willing to work in teams
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to work within timelines and meet deadlines.
- Proficient English both spoken and written, able to translate in verbal from Khmer to English and English to Khmer
- Computer skills (MS-Word, MS-Excel, QuickBooks or other similar accounting software, E-mail and Internet)
- High moral character and willingness to comply with organization’s principles.
