HOW WE BEGAN
COSECAM was established in 2001. The founding idea being “One stick breaks easily but a bunch is unbreakable”. A few organisations came together with the idea that collaborating to share training and resources can prove a more formidable force against the sexual exploitation of children than any one alone. Initially, COSECAM began with three members but then has increased to twenty-four.
GOAL
COSECAM is a local NGO coalition in Cambodia. All members of the coalition have common goal, advocate for improvements and work to assist children in need, particularly those who are abused, exploited or maltreated.
