ANESVAD Foundation is a Non Profit and Non Governmental Organisation (NGO), which works in health and social development projects in Asia, Latin America and Africa.
It was founded in Bilbao in 1968, with the purpose of helping poor and needy patients. In 1970, with the help of Father Javier Olazábal S.I., ANESVAD began fighting against leprosy disease in the island of Culion (Philippines). This way, ANESVAD began its international work.
